I used to be a fan of P2 because I like it when people change the melody and show a little creativity. But then it got a little repetitive. Same thing every week, you know. Plus, I was falling for DeAndre. But even if DeAndre had not been on the show, I don't think I would have ended up a P2 fan. I will give P2 credit for a really great performance with Volcano. Finally, we got something that didn't feel like he was just phoning it in. Maybe that's it. It sometimes feels like P2 isn't trying as hard as the other contestants. Poor the Hollie tried so hard every single week. I always felt like DeAndre thought about what he was going to do with a song and its meaning. And I always liked how meaningful each song was to Colton. And Elise did some nice things with her performances as well. Josh does some things that make me say "wow." Jessica, I'm not as big of a fan of, but she puts her all into every performance. I don't know. I don't like being mean to contestants because I know it's a lot of hard work. And P2 did learn the guitar for practically all of his songs, so I'll leave him be.

P2 is ok looking [ my daughter doesnt think he's cute at ALL , Hey Looky Peg someting else you & your glee buddy have in common , neither of you think P2 is cute :)) ]
colton and josh are cute they take 2nd & 3 place in looks department for this season.

He is cute. IMO, he's second in the "Cutest idol boys" competition this year. However, American Idol is about singing. :P

I think Phillip is "cute" as well. He does have pretty blue eyes. But I'm not a fan of his "singing." Our guy DeAndre has the Looks AND the Voice!! Hands down, beats anything P2 has!!

hmmm...I hate to admit this here, but I am one of those females who thinks P2 is adorable. ::) I actually called in votes for Phillip during the top 24(25) week. I called in 25 votes for DeAndre that week and 25 for Phillip. The next week, though, DeAndre received all of my 1500 power votes. I haven't voted for anyone since DeAndre left--I just don't have the heart to--but I was a little upset by the thought that Phillip could go home tonight. I know he doesn't have the vocal range of the others, but there is just something about his voice and the way he interprets a song that I like.

I sat through 45 min of the show last night only because I sprained my ankle and was trying to rest it for a bit. I just cannot get excited about the final 4, sorry. They are OK singers, but none of them are Idols, IMHO. I wish them all well, but all of the life went out of the show for me when Kamele left. The finale should be great and I am definitely going to the tour - with a friend I met online during season 6!!

Did you see their pre-performance portion? Jessica may have hurt herself when she said she wasn't going anywhere, after being in the bottom two. Some people will look for Any reason to hate on somebody.
Might log out of here and go by Idol GD board and look at the comments. that might give us an idea of how the voting may go. ;)

I loved Joshua's performance, but I really thought both of Jessica's were better.

Hey y'all. I didn't know y'all were doing this. coolness. I shared my opinions elsewhere. But I'm not voting anymore. I put in my five votes for Joshua as promised to my friend and that's it. I'm tired of voting so much when my favorites keep getting sent home anyway. Just counting the days until the finale. But it was a good show tonight.

Whatever the majority feels like doing. I post on another site during Idol (people I've known since Season 1) and text my sister in Cali the results as the show is going on, so may be limited in the chat room for me until 9:00.

As MUCH as I miss DeAndre, and still Hate Nigel and Jimmy for his treatment, fair is fair. J&J deserve to be in the finale based on those who are left. Who knows how much Longer DeAndre might've stayed if certain contestants didn't have rabid fans bases... of course WE're included in that as well! ;D

very true Lori. I just keep holding on to the fact that we're going to see so much more from Dre and we can't live in the woulda coulda's. Let's just plan for the future and ride the Dre ride cause it's gonna be a doozey!!!

My only critique for Jessica, is that she should've moved during her performance. don't know Who told her to just stand there... IDIOTS!! Amazing she could pull off her incredible vocals and that much emotion just standing there. I would've thrown myself on the ground... on my knees begging! LOL

I didn't think you were a big Hollie fan but there's a lot out there. I really like her but think she's a little too inexperienced next to Josh and Jess but much better than P2.
haha no I actualy think Jessica and Josh are the best singers left. But I usualy only have one or two favorites that I care enough to vote for for myself - This year it was Dre and Erika ;D my friend is a huge holliepop though, so I am more than happy to help her out a bit - and it seems like poor Hollie needs as much as she can get :-\

I didn't get 2 see joshua & jessica BUT I WANT a finale with those 2, I PRAY phil isnt in the final 2 he Isnt good enough. I dont get it either peg ,sammy heard the girls screaming 4 phil and she's a young teen but cant stand phil every time he's on she's Turns off the tv or changes the channel ,

Not sure it's all that Tori but it has it's moments.
Les, I really like Hollie, but imo, she's a Technical singer. I didn't hear any emotion or nuances in her voice to pull that song off. She Technically sang it well... for me it lack any kind of emotion, other than on her face. She Tried!!

oh sry , I really didnt pay attention to Idol , I tried to multi task watch & try to work shuting off the spam , frustrating i tell you.
anyway I didn't need to watch my daughter Sammy watched for me & all I saw when phil sang 1st , she shouted OMG shutup !!& threw a slipper at the tv hitting P2 square in the face it was funny. all he does is growl & completely off.
Sammy liked holly tonite, wasn't happy with josh [ she didn't think he did justice to raise me up its a fave song]
she laughed through the duets ,I'm not unhappy I missed the show didn't sound like I missed anything :)) I didnt finish watching , found it boring.

agree 100% Steve Perry is amazing. I got his autograph when I was a around 13. Journey was signing albums (shows how old I am! lol) at a shopping mall. I was so excited!

Up until those last couple of notes, it was a snoozer... and then she KILLED IT at the end. That is Hard to do what she just did at the end. People have short memories... they'll only remember that. LOL :D
