hmmm...I hate to admit this here, but I am one of those females who thinks P2 is adorable.    I actually called in votes for Phillip during the top 24(25) week.  I called in 25 votes for DeAndre that week and 25 for Phillip.  The next week, though, DeAndre received all of my 1500 power votes.  I haven't voted for anyone since DeAndre left--I just don't have the heart to--but I was a little upset by the thought that Phillip could go home tonight.  I know he doesn't have the vocal range of the others, but there is just something about his voice and the way he interprets a song that I like.   

He is cute. IMO, he's second in the "Cutest idol boys" competition this year. However, American Idol is about singing.

He's not my type as far as looks.  Just ok looking for me.

I used to be a fan of P2 because I like it when people change the melody and show a little creativity.  But then it got a little repetitive.  Same thing every week, you know.  Plus, I was falling for DeAndre.  But even if DeAndre had not been on the show, I don't think I would have ended up a P2 fan.  I will give P2 credit for a really great performance with Volcano.  Finally, we got something that didn't feel like he was just phoning it in.  Maybe that's it.  It sometimes feels like P2 isn't trying as hard as the other contestants.  Poor the Hollie tried so hard every single week.  I always felt like DeAndre thought about what he was going to do with a song and its meaning.  And I always liked how meaningful each song was to Colton.   And Elise did some nice things with her performances as well.  Josh does some things that make me say "wow."  Jessica, I'm not as big of a fan of, but she puts her all into every performance.  I don't know.  I don't like being mean to contestants because I know it's a lot of hard work.  And P2 did learn the guitar for practically all of his songs, so I'll leave him be.
